No.71 Kengozan Senjuin Iyadaniji
A mountain temple on sacred Iyadani-san, revered since ancient times. Kūkai is said to have trained here in his youth. The view from the main hall stretches across the Sanuki Plain and the Seto Inland Sea. The Lion’s Cave (Shishi no Iwaya) near the Daishidō preserves traces of ascetic practice, making the entire mountain a living sacred space.
I like to travel, and whenever I have time, I walk all over the place. He is particularly knowledgeable about the Shikoku Pilgrimage and enjoys talking about the temples and the journey. I like talking to people and value encounters.

Hilltop temple with cave okuno-in integrated into stamp hall; steep stair approach. Nearby Michi-no-Eki and onsen. Optional demanding detour to Bekkaku 18 (historic connection to Kōbō Daishi’s family).
